Cocoknits is based in Oakland, California. A small team of women who love to make things and love supporting other creative people and businesses. We believe all Makers should have beautiful, high-quality, tools to use in their craft.
Colored Split Ring Markers
These colourful opening stitch markers help you mark rounds, increases, decreases, and stitch patterns. Easily add or move the markers by putting them on your needle, crochet hook, or directly on stitches. These steel markers attach to your Knitter's Keep, Maker’s Board, or pin magnet so that you can easily store and retrieve them.
Precious Metal Stitch Markers
Not just silver anymore! These fun markers are finished with gold, silver and copper colouring! The stitch markers are steel based, so still attach to your Knitter's Keep, Maker’s Board, or pin magnet so that you can easily store and retrieve them. Use them to mark rounds, increases, decreases, and stitch patterns. Included are 6 each of three sizes in each of three finishes, 54 markers total.
Opening Colored Stitch Marker
These colourful opening stitch markers help you mark rounds, increases, decreases, and stitch patterns. Claw Clips
These little toothed-clips grip your knitting during or before seaming. They are also ideal for holding pieces to bag frames or sections for sewing.. They are a discreet clear-matte so the emphasis stays on your yarn or project, not on the clip.
Now plastic-free! CocoKnits does everything they can to be as environmentally friendly as possible with their products and packaging, so the claw clips are now made out of the same biodegradable PLA plant fibre as the CocoKnits Tape Measures - in a lovely linen shade.
Stitch Fixer
This handy little tool is a double-ended crochet hook that can be used to pick up dropped stitches and works for most of your knitting project repairs. It is made of nickel plated steel, sticks to your Knitter's Keep or Maker’s Board, and is always within reach!
Curved Cable Needle
Sleek and small needles made of nickel-plated steel that will slide easily through your knitting
and hold stitches conveniently to the front or back of your work. Of course, the needles cling to your Maker‘s Keep bracelet or Maker’s Board. Pack contains 2 needles size 2.5mm.
Tapestry Needles
These sleek tapestry needles made of nickel-plated steel are perfect for seaming or working in ends of yarn. The large eye allows to work with nearly every yarn gauge. Of course, The needles cling to your Maker‘s Keep bracelet or Maker’s Board. The set includes 4 needles: 2 large, 2 small.
Leather Cord and Needle Stitch Holder
Use the Stitch Holder Kit in lieu of scrap yarn whenever you need to hold live stitches. The threaded needles allow you to knit off of your leather cord. Also suitable for holding stitches to try on top-down knitted garments in progress.
Leather Handle
The Leather Handle Kit provides an easy, no-sew way to add handles to any bag. The handles can be removed and reattached every time you need to wash your bag. Leather is natural, vegetable-tanned, and kit includes 2 handles, 4 cords and 4 leather washers.
The Cocoknits Four Corner bag is sold separately, or use the instructions included in the kit to sew your own.

Originally designed to hold our row counter, stitch markers, and yarn snips — any steel accessories will cling to the magnet, perfect for makers of all kinds. Knitters, sewists, hair and clothing stylists, fly fishers, or weekend warriors will all find it handy to keep nails, screws, pins and endless small items close at hand while creating.
Row Counter
The row counter is constructed of high-quality, translucent polycarbonate for a clean, modern look. It is packaged in a kraft cylinder, making it a nice gift for any knitter or maker.
Maker’s Board Kit
A new addition to our washable paper fabric collection is a folding stand for following patterns or instructions of any kind. The Marker's Board Kit provides a convenient way to follow charts, patterns, recipes, and more. One side of the folder props up for display, held standing with magnets, so the angle is completely adjustable. The strong small magnets also hold papers and small tools against the internal metal sheets, and keep project instructions at hand while working. Inner pockets store all of your papers in one place.
The kit contains 4 round magnets covered in fermented plant fibers (PLA), 2 small, round, uncovered magnets to hold tools (i.e. row counter, snip..), 3 strong, uncovered rectangle magnets for propping board and holding other tools. The kit comes in a linen drawstring bag with instructions on the hanging tag.
Tape Measure
Made of biodegradable polyactide, but not water soluble. The metal tape inside measures cm/mm and has a metal strip at the end which prevents the tape from entering the case.
The measuring tapes are packed in a small linen drawstring bag.
Stitch Stoppers
Keep your stitches on your needles with these little foam stoppers. Designed by knitters for knitters, pliable EVA foam allows stoppers to slide all the way down your needle to hold stitches while you are on the move or trying on your top-down knitted garments. Use Stitch Stoppers to turn any double-point or circular needle into a stitch holder!
Ruler & Needle Guage
These two were designed to be used with the Maker's Board Kit, but are also useful on their own. They are just what it says: A handy ruler and a gauge for sizing needles that have magnets embedded so they can also be used as straight edges on the Maker's Board. The ruler is 8 x 1 inches (20 x 2,5 cm) and the needle gauge measures 9,9 x 1,3 inches (25 x 3,5 cm). Polyactide is a degradable plant fiber.
Colored Triangle Stitch Marker
Cute little triangular stitch markers in earthy tones in a pretty little box. One box contains 3 different sizes with 6 of each color and size = 54 stitch markers.
Sweater Care Emery Board Set Files
For nails, sharpening pencils, bamboo knitting and crochet needles, or smoothing leather straps. The set consists of six files in the same six beautiful colors as the Cocoknits centimeter measuring tapes. They are packaged in a transparent paper sleeve. The files measure 8 x 1.5 cm.
Knitters Block Tensioning Set
Once you've tried it, you won't want to be without this useful tool. Simply assemble the boards, place your damp knitting on top, pin it in place, and let it dry. Knitting dries much faster on these boards than, for example, on carpet. And who even has carpet anymore?
The set includes: A sturdy jute bag with 18 flexibly assemblable fabric-covered foam panels (each 30x30cm), 40 pins, a cotton cloth in a 2.5cm check pattern to measure the knitted piece.
Yarn Snip with Leather Cover
Made of forged steel in an attractive package with a leather case. It can also be clipped onto a bracelet. And the best part: no one will steal these little scissors from your craft basket to misuse them for other things (cutting flowers, crafting), because they are really only suitable for cutting thread.

Small, round and incredibly practical: The Notions Dish from Cocoknits is perfect for stitch markers, needles, stitch stoppers and all those little things that tend to get lost while knitting.
A strong magnet in the base plate securely holds metallic tools in place – even the matching cup adheres reliably.
The bowl can be used individually or fixed to the tray.

Magnet Set
Six colorful, round discs with magnets on the underside for use with the Maker's Board Kit or simply on the refrigerator. The magnets have a diameter of 2 cm.
Polylactic acid is a biodegradable plant fiber.

These stainless steel T-pins perfectly complement the Knitters Block Kit. They are suitable
Also great for temporarily pinning together individual parts of a sweater (but please be careful when trying it on!).
Sweater Care Fuzz Off Comb
The Fuzz Off Comb II is an updated, more compact design of the Fuzz Off Comb (Original). Keep your clothes fresh and lint-free with this gentle steel comb that efficiently removes fiber fuzz. This updated design is easier to hold and features a snap-on cover. The steel comb is still replaceable and works with the same Cocoknits Comb Refills. The body is made from 100% biodegradable PLA, derived from plant fibers. Refills also available in store.
