Sunday morning, take it easy. Join us at Seikatsu to hangout, drink Matcha, and crochet together. Sink into a comfortable seat or find your zen on a tatami mat, while we light the incense and turn the music down low. Choose your favourite matcha and crochet one or all of the cherry blossom inspired patterns provided by Cherry Blossom & Tweed. Crochet hooks and yarns can be bought at Cherry Blossom & Tweed, Lange Hezelstraat 77 or raid your stash for spring inspired colours.
What's included:
• One matcha drink of your choice (hot or iced)
• An exclusive crochet pattern designed by Cherry Blossom & Tweed. Suitable for beginners and those with more experience. Support and helpful tips will also be available should you need it.
Preparation
This is a bring-your-own crochet supplies event. Yarn, hooks, and other materials are not provided as standard at the café.
If you don’t have your own supplies, you can purchase them at Cherry Blossom & Tweed (Lange Hezelstraat 77) before the event. A small selection of supplies will also be available for purchase at the café on the day itself, but availability is limited.

At the heart of Cherry Blossom and Tweed was a desire to create and support a community of knitters, crochet'rs and all crafters. We used Instagram to help people find out who we were and because we were led to believe we couldn't not do so as a new business. But it was always with a sense of unease that we were contributing to a potentially harmful environment. Therefore, we have decided to sign off from Instagram and will not engage with any social media until we can find a platform created with its users and communities in mind - to foster learning, understanding and acceptance. This is a very personal decision and in no way a critique of our suppliers, fellow wool shops, customers and artists who continue to have positive engagements on Instagram
